Jennifer Epler

Founder and Principal Biomedical Writer

Hello!

In my first career, I was a scientist at the bench in both academia and pharma for many years. My research spanned cell biology, T-cell immunotherapy, translational oncology, and small-molecule drug development. I loved diving into the medical literature, attending conferences, and producing numerous abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and slide decks. In my experience, data presentation is always enhanced by clear, concise writing.

Communication is my favorite part of advancing biomedical science.

In 2021, I completed a second master's degree in Science Writing. Since then, I have written many types of science and medical content, including promotional materials for biotech products, educational materials for pharma salespeople, medical news, plain-language summaries, regulatory documents, and conference reports.

I founded Concise Biomedical Writing in 2024. My main focus now is continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD). However, I also love writing about the latest advancements in medicine to a variety of audiences through clinical trial summaries and conference reports. What kind of project can we create together?

These research projects grew into needs assessments, patient cases, slide decks, conference reports, clinical trial summaries, plain-language explainers, study guides, quizzes, and more. Although client confidentiality agreements prevent me from showing some finished products, others are available to you in my portfolio.
