Jennifer Epler

Founder and Principal Biomedical Writer

Hello!

In my first career, I spent many years at the bench as a research scientist in academia and in the pharmaceutical industry. My research spanned cell biology, T-cell immunotherapy, translational oncology, and small-molecule drug development. I loved diving into the medical literature, attending conferences, and producing numerous abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and slide decks. In my experience, data presentation is always enhanced by clear, concise writing.

Communication is my favorite part of advancing biomedical science.

In 2021, I completed a (second) master's degree in Science Writing. Since then, I have written many types of science and medical content, including conference reports, promotional materials for biotech products, educational materials for pharma salespeople, medical news, regulatory documents, and plain-language summaries. My main focus now is continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD).

I founded Concise Biomedical Writing in 2024. Needs assessments, patient cases, and slide decks are my bread and butter. However, I also love writing clinical trial summaries, conference reports, posters, and more. What type of content can we create together?
